Laura J. Blanche, M.Ed.
Laura earned her M. Ed. in Secondary Guidance and Counseling Services from Clemson University and her B.S. Ed. from George Mason University, where she played D-1 Soccer. Laura has also earned the designation of Certified Educational Planner (CEP), a mark of distinction in the college counseling profession.
She is an emeritus member of Drexel University's inaugural Counselor Advisory Board, serving from 2016-2019. She contributes articles on college planning to local publications and blogs and shares her insights from campus visits on her college blog. A Professional member of both IECA and HECA, as well as NACAC and PACAC, Laura is connected to the pulse of college admissions on a daily basis. Laura resides in Montgomery County, PA. with her husband and two children.
During the year, Laura spends 20% of her time visiting colleges, meeting with college reps, and staying current in the field through her participation in national conferences,
webinars and professional networks. Laura has visited 160 college campuses in the past six years and regularly participates on college tours around the country. By learning what makes each school unique, she can assist students in finding their best-fit college.
