This package begins in November or December of the junior year and continues throughout the application and decision process senior year.  Monthly virtual meetings are scheduled and each student is given a Custom College Plan account to keep the student on-task and organized throughout the research and application process.  FaceTime conferences, check-ins and ongoing support for you and your student included.  Meetings continue over the summer to get a head start on all components of the application process.

o Understanding the NCAA Eligibility Center process and timing

o Identifying colleges with learning support programs and when to disclose a disability

o Showcasing a special talent in the application process through a portfolio or other means

o Understanding admission decisions and next steps (deferrals & waitlists)

o Financial aid advising- FAFSA, CSS Profile, Net Price Calculators, need and merit based scholarships 

 

Laura has simplified and demystified the college application process for seniors through the creation of her Senior Checklist and College Application Deadline Chart. Through collaboration with Laura, students can be assured that they will have all components of their applications completed accurately and timely through an individualized plan developed in alignment with your high school’s college application policies. Getting a head start on the application process the summer before senior year will ease the stress associated with the process and enable seniors to fully engage and be present senior year.
